Whenever people freak out at me for saying I miss jerry brown just remember he did stuff like this: http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billStatusClient.xhtml?bill_id=201720180SB464

2019-09-10 23:39:51 UTC

He was as reasonable as Californians could wish for

In the meantime, you just know newsom will let that one through

2019-09-10 23:43:53 UTC

lol, nearly 2%

and instead of being helped, the left tries to push the mental illness of the kids

“Newsom was also sent a measure aimed at dealing with guns that are home assembled and therefore not traceable. The bill would require, starting in 2023, that precursor parts be purchased through a licensed dealer so they are subject to registration and background checks.”

2019-09-10 23:51:07 UTC

I like how this is the fucking afterthought

2019-09-10 23:51:14 UTC

Rather than its own article

2019-09-10 23:51:52 UTC

“Yeah, they’re also looking at removing a $100 cap on application fees and also registration of 80% lowers”

2019-09-10 23:51:57 UTC

NBD

2019-09-10 23:53:45 UTC

based & gun control pilled

2019-09-10 23:54:01 UTC

what are they going to do about the african problem though?

2019-09-10 23:54:22 UTC

Idk lol

2019-09-10 23:54:40 UTC

But the red flag law expansion that newsom is probably going to pass

2019-09-10 23:54:47 UTC

Brown already vetoed once

2019-09-10 23:54:51 UTC

God I miss brown so much

I feel like brown and newsom are the liberal guys who are like “yeah, we need to do something about gun violence but we also have to respect the civil liberties of the people and ensure some modicum of freedom” and “bUt tHiNk oF tHe cHiLdReN,” respectively

2019-09-11 00:05:49 UTC

Brown was terrible in his own way though, remember the rail he was building?

2019-09-11 00:14:04 UTC

Better than guns

2019-09-11 00:22:28 UTC

True

2019-09-11 01:06:36 UTC

The issue with rail systems, especially in the US. Is cities try to build them to be like Europe or Japan, but it just doesnt work here due to layouts of cities prestablished.

2019-09-11 01:10:03 UTC

And the rail systems we have put in for transit, don't get used so they lose money

2019-09-11 01:10:10 UTC

RIP *WES*

2019-09-11 01:10:59 UTC

I love when Europoors tell us to build more public transport

2019-09-11 01:11:07 UTC

Like, I'd love to, but nobody will use it

2019-09-11 01:11:41 UTC

Or they sell the contracts to buddies and never get built but cost multiple times more. See cali and portland.

2019-09-11 01:11:47 UTC

There's too many people living outside of cities to make it worth it

2019-09-11 01:12:01 UTC

It's because it isnt functional here.

2019-09-11 01:12:03 UTC

One place I've seen it work. *ONE PLACE*

And that was Salt Lake City.

2019-09-11 01:12:10 UTC

In St. Louis County, they paid ISPs to provide every citizen with Fiber internet

2019-09-11 01:12:13 UTC

Guess what they did?

2019-09-11 01:12:23 UTC

It works in europe because it was established before the cities grew. And just expanded as needed.

2019-09-11 01:12:39 UTC

Well, you can assume what happened because I definitely don't have good internet out here

2019-09-11 01:12:41 UTC

I think that's why it works in SLC. The trains came before the people

2019-09-11 01:13:11 UTC

Of course

2019-09-11 01:13:29 UTC

It's inconvenient to travel a long distance to the rail station as would be neccesary in most US cities

2019-09-11 01:13:47 UTC

Like, what else can they do? They can't break through a bunch of buildings to implement a better location for it
