To me it is
the problem is offering a free service to users and creators at the same time
Well that's your problem lol
its not my problem, it's the platform's
Yeah, I guess sure. It's just not the problem I was solving lol
So quit your yammering and keep watching jewtube
<:sargoy:382978736053551104>
the problem you should be solving is youtube's lack of profitability
thats the only reason they maintain their monopoly
there is no other problem
Did you forget about the card companies forcing them to behave the way they do?
Or the hosting companies banning bitchute?
just use a Russian payment processor, camrode
those are wholly seperate monopolies which need competition so that their business tactics fail
but those companies are already profitable -- it is no issue for a based host or processor to take all their customers
What?
literally just that
anyone can set up a server farm and make money
There are no 'based processors'.
There's just Visa/Mastercard
SubscribeStar has based Russian payment processor, camrode
Let's see how long that lasts before it's yeeted by the FTC or something
then we'll just have to see, but, its been a minute, so far
No matter what, at some point along the chain, you have to go through a card processor
if Visa starts controlling what people buy, theyll lose money
They already do
like what?
i just bought a gun on Visa
i could buy some porn too if i wanted
and I make transactions with Russian businesses such as Gaijin Games/WarThunder
if Visa starts nerfing people's ability to buy what they want, businesses will just tell you to mail cash
IDK if it would even be legal for Visa to do that
Well, Matercard did it with Patreon 🤷
they pressured a service to ban people
interesting
well, I'm sure Russia will find a way to profit by offering an alternative. In either case your solution doesnt solve this problem either
you need someone to compete with Visa/MC
if they banned Pewdiepie from making a living, it would certainly be a PR nightmare for them
I'm not sure on what legal grounds they can even do this so it seems like some of these people should be suing them
