I've watched a few downhill videos on YouTube they are crazy man
The smaller one is on a "bare" mountain (mainly just grass and huge rocks around you) and its shaped in such a way that, from the top, you can see the parking site.
It's so fucking weird when you can point out where your car is... when it's 900m below you.
Hahaha...so where abouts in Europe are you again..
Focus on her lips. ๐
cringe
Hahaha
The bigger place is in Andorra ๐ฆ๐ฉ, it's fucking annoying that I cannot use my smartphone there (roaming fees apply in non-๐ช๐บ places).
Just like Wales...Haha..
It's good to get out in places like that...
So how come you've come across orwell
From the top of the resort, if I were to go the wrong way I'd go off a cliff and land in ๐ช๐ธ.
I could basically jump off a country and die in another one. I'm sure a murder done that way would make for an interesting case.
@hicks - 2 main reasons:
ยท I saw him on Twitter years ago
ยท I'm non-retarded enough to see that he's a good guy
I was watching one of those monster avalanche races the other ...they're fucking crazy...
They do one in Vallnord, the resort in ๐ฆ๐ฉ I've mentioned, but it's a lot tamer (no glacier).
I've only just found him on YouTube..I don't do any other social media anymore..
Yeah .seems like a nice guy..
I've kinda wanted to visit the resort where they do the biggest avalanche race (Alpe d'Huez) but the trailmap looks confusing as shit.
You can tell when someone is speaking that they care about what they are talking about..
In Vallnord even a fucking retard can spend all day going down & up the mountain all day no problem. In Alpe d'Huez you need to connect shit and all that.
They have lifts
You have lifts but the place is so big you basically have to connect them and some places are basically dead-ends so you gotta pedal for many minutes to get to another place so you can go back up and all that.
Click on it, then "open original", it's HUGE.
They all the runs....that huge
If you ever do something like EN4 you end up on Allemont (left side of the map), which leaves you with no way to get back up.
Fuck...cant you park your car there first..
Either you calculate that to be your last run of the day or you need some proper outside help so they can get you to Vaujany or Oz Station, both around 500m over Allemont (quite a climb).
EN5 also sends you to Allemont.
EN6 as well.
Damn...you need a support car dude..
Vallnord is nice (not as big, DUH) but way friendlier.
It's kinda funny that, without support, Vallnord actually offers a BIGGER vertical drop than Alpe d'Huez.
If you got help it's definitely bigger but you're gonna need a very supportive friend/relative so they can get you back up the hill a couple of times between morning and the early afternoon.
When I go to Vallnord either I go alone (there's enough traffic on the mountain, unlikely for me to die alone) or my parents get me there, then leave me alone for like 7-8 hours.
Die alone...hahaha.....atleast someone will be there to watch you die...
The mountain patrol is linked to ๐ฆ๐ฉ's only and really good hospital, I've seen the helicopter come pick people up.
You might of inspired me to get the mountain bike out in the nest few weeks dude..
I once saw the helicopter pick one of my friends up.
