Long story short, we finally get a test that is just barely normal, and the male doctor says "Well, you should be fine. Besides, the last thing the world needs is more testosterone."

Fast forward 18 years. half a lifetime later.

My wife, candiru is worried about me and sends me to multiple doctors. One time my normal GP is not available. This new doc looks at my entire record and says "hmm your testosterone is really low. that could be causing depression" let's test it again.
