Rees mogg altho acting like catholic ultra conservative is good example of that saying "what have conservatives conserved..."

2019-04-20 18:06:08 UTC

2019-04-20 18:07:10 UTC

2019-04-20 18:07:45 UTC

2019-04-20 18:07:55 UTC

Altho ain't the whole island?

2019-04-20 18:09:50 UTC

I've hated Sweden since I was a kid but Brits are making it hard to not hate them more these days.

2019-04-20 18:17:29 UTC

After ww2 socialism and cycling to all direction, I mean just look how they resolved Rhodesia situation, how they react to the rivers of blood speech and to be frank, I doubt they would have conquered that much if not beeing Island nation having big ship industry and reliance on them and big leaps in technological progress, I mean they're first that fucked up monarchy since ancient times and changed it to pariamentarism and only folks like Charles I and II (weren't they French by heritage even?) have tried to change stuff, cause less face it, Brits have never been like Germans or Russians were in personality of the nation.

And his arguments matter not? @Deleted User I’m disappointed. Sure I or you may not like his character but does it invalidate his arguments? I’ve never understood choosing a person over policy. Must be an American custom

2019-04-20 18:21:31 UTC

The point of me posting that wasn’t to worship him. In retrospect I should have added a caption

2019-04-20 18:21:53 UTC

And Trump? 😏

2019-04-20 18:23:02 UTC

Well yes he leaves a lot to be desired but when it comes to no deal brexit he’s spot on

2019-04-20 18:23:17 UTC

Notice the Euro argument

2019-04-20 18:23:45 UTC

The Euro is a vanity project which has given us nothing but suffering

2019-04-20 18:24:09 UTC

And a centralized bureaucratic superstate

2019-04-20 18:24:16 UTC

Shame that IPU is so small

2019-04-20 18:24:48 UTC

Where nation states are sacrificed on the altar of neoliberal economic desires

2019-04-20 18:25:19 UTC

They coerced us to pay greece’s debts

2019-04-20 18:25:25 UTC

I mean if you don't support it you'll vote till you do

2019-04-20 18:25:37 UTC

^

2019-04-20 18:25:54 UTC

Or get into it despite voting against like us into euro in 1996 if I remember correctly

2019-04-20 18:26:00 UTC

@Deleted User send help and guns

2019-04-20 18:26:34 UTC

Sorry 1998

2019-04-20 18:26:58 UTC

Finland said no to Euro?

2019-04-20 18:27:14 UTC

I can’t recall that as i was quite young

2019-04-20 18:27:17 UTC

Yeah, euro as money, not euro as EU

2019-04-20 18:28:02 UTC

Folk wanted to keep markka, it was like 52 against but Lipponen and Niinistö Got It through despite it https://youtu.be/TSngJmYPBCE

2019-04-20 18:28:28 UTC

It was advisory sure but still

2019-04-20 18:30:33 UTC

Well done

2019-04-20 18:30:59 UTC

We’ll become poor debt slaves

2019-04-20 18:31:40 UTC

In the 2040’s you are going to need a credit card to buy a granola bar

2019-04-20 18:31:55 UTC

The keynesian dream

2019-04-20 18:32:43 UTC

Honestly the system is a casino which crashes every 10 years or so

2019-04-20 18:33:05 UTC

Hmh, can't find the emu vote thing anywhere

2019-04-20 18:33:23 UTC

And each bailout requires more and more debt and the recovery is meager and meager

2019-04-20 18:33:44 UTC

2% gdp is now “good”

2019-04-20 18:33:57 UTC

2005 that was 5%

2019-04-20 18:33:57 UTC

Found this tho, map of voting to join into eu from 1994

2019-04-20 18:35:22 UTC

Before the 1990’s recession even more, our structural unemployment was 3% in the 1980’s and now it’s 8-9% and only going up

2019-04-20 18:35:47 UTC

But at least we have smartphones and pumpkin lattes

2019-04-20 18:36:47 UTC

The big thing to not join into eu was cause we now can't devaluate our money artificially like we used to with markka which was sometimes used (according to some but not by others) quite well in compact against depression
