@childrenofthelie one more time and you're banned. just kidding, did you see the Werner Von Braun documentary called "Footprints on the Moon"? if not, you will want to, and pay close attention to the lawyer-ese phrasing that Von Braun uses.
I haven't. I figured today would be a good day to show some flat Earth facts that get me thinking since JLP said he is going to have a flat Earth debate. I hope they talk about how you could see the Antarctic mountains from 300 miles away on a globe. Also Temperature, density, and buoyancy determines what goes up or down.
I wouldn't admit to such a lack of a grasp on basic scientific observations.
Could you explain how you could see the Antarctic mountains from 300 miles away on a globe?
It's called being trolled by fake information
I hate falling for trolls. I feel duped. It makes me feel like a rube. A normie. A commoner. A plebeian. A peasant. A small-brained nothing. A mouth-breathing yokel. A dumb dumb dummy dumbs. A butterfly chaser. A helmet-head. A Mark Sothersby. A rider of the short bus. A "I need my mother to cut up my food into bite-size pieces and feed it to me" type dude. Like I should trade in all my shoes with laces for ones with velcro. Don't hand me sharp objects, I can only write in crayon. When I go to the store I hand the clerk a note for the items I want. People need to remind me to blink my eyes. I keep my address in my pocket and my name sewn into all my shirts. I watch the new Star Wars movies and enjoy them. Lemons are scary.
@childrenofthelie Let me help you out with the one you mentioned, for example
You know what I did for you?
I went to the source pdf and converted it to a txt file online
That is the full unadulterated .pdf at that .mil URL in that image up there, converted automatically to .txt
the block of data in question is here:
Where does this say there is a five mile ice wall circle around the entire earth like some kinda cosmic Trump finally protected us from the illegal aliens?
It is talking about the *possibilty* of optical illusions
At least you believe it's a mirage at 60,000 feet in the air
You could believe that
Please go there, and realize you are not likely to see this anyway
I dont
Please, bear with me here a moment
Why just that one spot?
Your 5 mile high ice wall would be VERY long, yes?
not just when approaching what "The Man" calls the polar region?
It's informing the navigator that distances can seem to be different depending on weather and atmospheric conditions
You jump to it saying, "Hey, this is the excuse why every time you are 300 miles away from here you will see ice"
When it's only a word of warning about a potential event
Like I said you could choose to believe it's a perfect mirage floating 60,000 feet in the air. I don't.
look at this mirage
and this one
