I'll send you pics of the notes I wrote after a bit. I think they're pretty spot on.
The best anyone can do about Jesus Christ is to understand his teachings. You can't apply them or really accept him without understanding his points.
it is understandable why some are critical to religion but it's had bad effects because the bible is probably the book with the most useful, and life changing lessons
The truth is truth with or without a label on that truth
I think the point of the Bible or any holy text is to just document that somebody went through all this crap of life before.
Word of God=Written in your heart
Holy Spirit=Word of God interpreter.
When I talk to people who are upset or depressed or whatever I point them to the holy Scriptures it doesn't matter what religion, but just to show them that somebody already went through what they're going through.
Job
And if you do the wrong stuff then bad stuff happens
Morality isn't Magic or Superstition it's just practical.
But for some reason people want to repel against what's good
it's essentially stories passed down orally for generations before being written that teach life lessons. most modern"Christians" don't actually understand or at least apply these lessons in their own life
Because they aren't aware that there is a difference between what is of good, and what is of the world. They cant help it.
It's about tribalism and branding in many cases. And it's taboo to actually know anything.
Modern Christians=Largely Godless. Generations of blind following blind
I think religion was misused by many, so it grew a sour reputation to many
Gnosticism which means basically just the pursuit of the knowledge of Truth, is frowned upon because there's too many chiefs and not enough Indians I guess.
but now we are seeing the disasters caused by the other end of the spiritual pendulum
Religion is just an organized system of beliefs. And when you get too much into memorization then intelligence goes away.
indeed
It's important to realize that there is worldly perfect and spiritually perfect. Those who don't recognize that fact are doomed to endlessly chase worldly perfection, but will miss the prize of spiritual perfection.
That is known as the caste system in India. This system exists everywhere all over the world.
I find it interesting how atheists claim to be supporters of individual rational thinking but are more closed minded than most christians
Intelligent Christianity is studying
Spiritual Christianity is understanding
I was trailer trash when I grew up. It's because that's what my mom was. That was my cast.
then turn around complaining how religious people don't think for themselves
Hey man, my caste was failing marriage and family death. Everyone has their own race to run.
Failing marriage between my parents
yeah
Everyone has a race equal in length, but different in track shape to run
the bible never says only those who deserve major struggles face them
I feel ya.
Major struggles are subjective. Everyone has a threshold
I seem to want difficulty.
I suppose
I only play the game of life in expert mode, homie
lmao
Hehe
expert mode, zero lives, no weapon playthrough
Recognizing the importance of forgiveness and recognizing the difference between thoughts, inner monologue, and revelation are the two most important things to find peace. The rest will fall into place.
So has been my experience, anyway.
