Night shift gang gang @Jacob Jeffrey
yup yup
I have a great amount of respect for Jessie fans even though I don't agree with him many times lol
bringing people back to Christian values might be ideal, but not really practical
unfortunately
there does need to be something like Christianity to fill a spiritual void in our society though
or else humanity is probably f**ked
thoughts?
insomnia is beta
why you letting satans thoughts keep you awake
if you cant sleep get a second job
Sleep is gay. I'll sleep after this book is written
I essentially am a workaholic, I get a small amount of sleep at night, wake up in the morning, then take one or two power naps in between doing things
some people just have really active brains that struggle to sleep
if I try to just lay in the dark with my eyes closed I will be up for at least an hour
I think your unspoken view of the world is an exact reflection of your own nature, more than any spoken view could be used as a map that is useful to anybody else. And although it seems nice the last thing you need is a flock of followers supporting the ego you had last year.
@J_G_ I got a pretty good jump on the general structure.
It's now been just about 6 hours since I sat down to write the letter. 6 hours of writing. My hand hurts
I think the holy scriptures of any religion are useful as guideposts. If you are with God you can read any Holy Scripture and see God in them. Not Speaking to anybody in particular or anything.
@J_G_ couldn't agree more
I'll send you pics of the notes I wrote after a bit. I think they're pretty spot on.
The best anyone can do about Jesus Christ is to understand his teachings. You can't apply them or really accept him without understanding his points.
it is understandable why some are critical to religion but it's had bad effects because the bible is probably the book with the most useful, and life changing lessons
The truth is truth with or without a label on that truth
I think the point of the Bible or any holy text is to just document that somebody went through all this crap of life before.
Word of God=Written in your heart
Holy Spirit=Word of God interpreter.
When I talk to people who are upset or depressed or whatever I point them to the holy Scriptures it doesn't matter what religion, but just to show them that somebody already went through what they're going through.
Job
And if you do the wrong stuff then bad stuff happens
Morality isn't Magic or Superstition it's just practical.
But for some reason people want to repel against what's good
it's essentially stories passed down orally for generations before being written that teach life lessons. most modern"Christians" don't actually understand or at least apply these lessons in their own life
