The new starters look like the mascots you'd find on dollar store cereal boxes
Honestly, they are the best looking first stage starters we've gotten since Gen. 3
Piplup was my fave
Then again I started the games with sinnoh
I'm biased for cute looking starters
I also like Chikorita
Litten is also cute
And fennekin
You don't find Sobble and his confused as fuck face adorable?
No
Didn't like any of the kanto starters either
I'm like brock's mom in the anime
I'm obsessed with cutsie type pokemon except i'm not restricted to one type
And I'm.not a shitty parent either
Scorbunny’s final form.
Wooloo: Another mareep, only without the electric typing and no tail. Is transparently a sheep. Looks physically defensive, most likely a vanilla normal type.
Gossifleur: Another flower grass type. Looks like it should be the evolved form of something else except it's not. Looks to be an early game mon for catching. Not too much to think about really...
Eldegoss: Evolved form of Gossifleur. Looks like roselia and whimsicott had and unholy love child and it got a perm. Probably a Venusaur sleep/poison/paralysis spreader. Could possibly gain spore and looks to be physically defensive and possibly fast as well.
Drednaw:Snapping turtle pokemon. Maybe a water type, but could maybe be a dragon. Mostly likely has a mediocre ATK with pitiful speed. I predict it just being completely non-viable.
Addendum: This is water/rock, which means it sucks
Corviknight: A badass-looking raven pokemon. Legit looked like a Red-Eyes Black Dragon when I first saw it. Could be a more competitively viable Honcckrow with flying and dark typing, maybe with comparable power, just more speed. Please for the love of God GF, make this thing good.
Zacian (Sword): A wolf with a sword in it's mouth... Kinda lame imo. Steel/Normal type? Idk honestly.
Zamazenta (Sheild): A much cooler legendary wolf with a sheild for a face and the main reason I pre-ordered Sheild today after watching the direct. Only complaint is that he looks exactly the same as Zacian without a sword and with a sheild instead. Kind of unimaginitive, then again, Latios and Latias exist.
Wild Area: Main catching area around Galar. Pokemon you can catch change dependant on the time of day and the weather. Pokemon in the overworld confirmed, so it's like playing Pokemon Go in a Pokemon game.
Camera Control: A neat feature to accent how open-world this Pokemon Game will be, and that make me feel excitement and arousal.
Dynamax: Kaiju Pokemon battles. Makes the Pokemon big and supposedly also much stronger, though it only lasts three turns, so protect will probably become a top-tier move dependent on how prominent Dynamax Pokemon become.
Co-Op Max Raid Battles in the wild area: BEST FUCKING FEATURE EVER,EVERYONE GET A SWITCH SO THAT WE CAN CATCH BIG KAIJU BOIS! Only one player can Dynamax their pokemon in a raid battle against the boss monster, so this will most likely lead to strategy for Gen Z players, and arguments amongst Gen Alpha players... The little shits.
Leon: Champion of Galar, transparently the villain of this story due to writing tropes.
Hop: Rival with an ok design, but a terrible name and looks to be just as obnoxious as Hau.
Prof. Magnolia: An old lady.
Sonia: Magnolia's grand daughter/assistant and also a hot piece of ass. Looking forward to the hentai made around this character.
Milo: Grass type Gym Leader (probably the first GL in Galar). Looks like an unholy love-child of Krillin and Stawberry Shortcake who is six years old and has been training with Larry the Lobster for seven.
Magnolia is a flower I do believe
So not continuing the tree names but still a plant, also the two legendaries are in the Red, White and blue, if you didn’t notice
@Duke of Petchington It’s a flower which grows off of a tree sharing the same name.
Wooloo is the purest Pokemon ever
Nessa: Revealed at today's E3 to be the second gym leader in Galar. A specialist in water-type Pokémon, her ace appears to be Drednaw as it was the Pokémon she Dynamaxxed in the demo. While the "Valley-Girl" circles online have already taken a shine to her, I must admit, she is quite the cutie.
Flat chested.
In addition, we also got to see a demo of some gameplay for Sword and Shield today, with a focus on Dynamax raids. Four trainers cooperating together get to challenge a Dynamax raid boss at various Pokémon Dens located around the Wild Area. The opportunity to Dynamax is available to one player in the raid, and once the raid boss in defeated, each trainer will have a turn to try and capture the raid boss. (Essentially, this means only one person can walk away with the Pokémon, while others will be forced to take the booby-prize of whatever items you can obtain from this raid. Another thing to keep in mind is that once per turn, each player can only attack once, however, the Raid Boss seems capable of attacking multiple times per it's turn, and can also target multiple adversaries. We also saw that these Raid Bosses have a shit-load of HP which makes Raids a bit more of a challenge, especially coupled with the fact that each player can only go in with 1 Pokémon selected from their party or PC (which again, is portable in this game) and that the Dynamaxxed Raid boss gains a barrier after it drops below half health, where the player has to knock it down with multiple attacks before they can proceed to damage the Raid Boss further.
I think she meant to represent Indian immigrants
