It's been boring so far.

That's the problem with going from doing a job at one store, and then starting training for the same job at another store less than a week later, you already know all the shit, but you have to hear it all back.

It might be they use different equipment e.g till monitors models, but a majority of thing are pretty much the same.

Not at this new job, it's mainly all based on the keyboard, unlike my old job where it was touchscreen.

Yeah, almost all stores (even corner shops) have touch screens hear the uk (some with solid number keypads as the touch screens can be a nightmare when punching numbers in)

I used to work at an ice cream place, and they were still stuck in the stone ages of using old-school cash registers. Only thing digital about them was the display for the price.

I fucking hated that job. Management sucked, customers were a bunch of inbred bastards, and only after I got fired from there did I realize they weren't operating their store according to code.

I'm not really sure tbh. But I think it's a state by state case, but then again, Ohio sucks about checking sanitation and safety regulations.

In the UK, stuck to front door of every Restaurant, cafe and “greasyspoons” is inspection notice to say the place wasn’t dodgy. Inspectors love arriving unannounced sometimes.
