We should just pay people what they're worth their market value.

If a male or a female is a hard worker puts in a lot of hours and is productive they should make more than somebody who leaves same time everyday.

It doesn't matter if the reason they leave the same time everyday is due to outside obligations.

regardless of those outside obligations that person has less value to the company than somebody who puts in a lot of hours
