basically if you weigh more than 250 lbs they might force you to purchase two tickets because they consider you two people

or because you would cause 'interference' with neighboring passengers because the seating simply can't accomodate you

there was a Reddit post not too long ago for a guy said he made another passenger am like two hundred bucks to not have him kicked off the flight because he was fat

I don't think they do that if you're super tall I think it has to do with whether you're extending into the other seat

depending how tall, where you are seated, and how long the flight is... you are running a real risk of actual injury
