That's the thing though, in this day and age, because we are able to deal better with issues, tonsils are usually only taken out when it is a recurrent problem for the individual. So in that circumstance I would tend to think that removal of those parts as constituting necessary

That's the thing, recurrent throat infection is actually the most common indication of tonsillectomy.
And about that guy neither will I.
