From a logistical perspective, gun confiscation on any meaningful level would be very nearly impossible in the US. The number of unregistered firearms is massive. The more likely course of action will be making it impossible to get ammo.

The "gunfucker" types tend to be boomers. There are a lot of younger gun owners that don't really look at it the same way as the boomers.

I think the whole Andrew Yang thing is just Trump 2.0 in a way. The powers that be have incentive to keep things the way they are. If in some fluke of fate, Yang gets the White House, he won't get anything done either
