with no rollover period
so you can leave, come back and get another year
Wow that’s nifty
Armenia offers 180-day stays per calendar year and they're also likely going to liberalize their visa laws to compete with Georgia
Armenia sounds cool as well and I’m already passable in it.
It’s rusty but passable
And nice
I'm going to Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkey over the summer to see what things are like in each
Yeah my therapist has been supportive of me to visit the Caucasian mountains so this means a lot
Albania also allows year-long stays for Americans but I have no idea what the quality of life is like there
if it's like Serbia it probably sucks
And yeah turkey is like Russia I want to learn about it but the sources are so skewed it’s hard what to trust
friend of mine says they're actually quite welcoming to Americans
at least in Istanbul
@mattforney Albania I heard isn’t as bad as Bosnia
the Turks who end up in Europe are shitbags, the ones who stay behind are more on the ball
which makes sense
But it’s predominantly Muslim so who knows how me as a Christian will be treated
people generally don't emigrate under shitty gasterbeiter programs if they have a good life back home
@mattforney really how come? On the Turks in Europe
Ahh ok
you're not going to run into serious Muslims unless you go to rural areas
And I meant Albania
And gotcha
Albania isn't very Muslim
only about 50 percent or so
the remainder are Catholic or Orthodox
Ahh ok thought it was more 70
And 30 Christian
according to another friend of mine the Muslims in Albania aren't observant
the Catholics are more devout
Ahh
Bosnia isn't a real country
Lol oh I know
it's becoming an open-air refugee camp
That’s why you mentioned Serbia lol
😉
the Bosniaks are letting "Syrians" hole up there to change the demographic balance
Oooh that’s.... really bad
and also because the Croats won't let them in
