oh just something i stumbled upon over a yr ago about roswell crash material.....a 'spar' from the 'ship' had writing on it....it thought to be alien language..it turned out to be a crude form of ancient greek...spelling out the word 'freedom'

we were talking about ancient lost civilisations, and speculating that maybe one of them might have achieved space flight before being wiped out by some cataclysm

actually i saw a picture of that beam, it's actually a slightly warped english

well any technically advanced culture would end up in chaos if their tech failed and it was basically only thing keeping them 'afloat' in their culture
