"better to reign in hell then to serve in heaven"

2019-08-08 11:16:08 UTC

when money is no longer an issue in ur very lives...it no longer controls ur actions (example, see trump)

2019-08-08 11:16:29 UTC

they seem heavily inspired by milton, it even showed up encoded in one of their FF events

2019-08-08 11:16:53 UTC

my question was: if you have enough money, could you use that to generate wealth out of nothing?

2019-08-08 11:17:22 UTC

Ya they are the baking institutions credit card companies etc lol

2019-08-08 11:17:31 UTC

remove money from the equation to effect survival and a person's survival is no longer an issue, therefore that person can evolve without any major hurdles blocking them

2019-08-08 11:17:33 UTC

and could u actually effect the value of a currency by buying or selling a lot of it

2019-08-08 11:17:50 UTC

that's still not my question dude

2019-08-08 11:18:03 UTC

davey, ur talking about supply and demand

2019-08-08 11:18:17 UTC

among other things

2019-08-08 11:18:20 UTC

the greater the transactional demand, the greater the value

2019-08-08 11:18:35 UTC

the rise of bitcoin is a true example

2019-08-08 11:18:55 UTC

They literally created the housing crisis shorted airlines ore 911

2019-08-08 11:19:29 UTC

til ppl discovered their bitcoin miners(my fault)...were actually transactional processors for bitcoin and other crypto currencies

2019-08-08 11:20:07 UTC

I always heard cryptos were how elite did there dirty deeds

2019-08-08 11:20:13 UTC

what i mean is: if you have enough money, and the very act of investing it or pulling it out of X actually effects the value of X?

2019-08-08 11:20:59 UTC

can u exploit that and create a loop where u just buy and sell the same thing over and over, making a profit every time

2019-08-08 11:21:03 UTC

ya...slow draw out of the market barely effects said market of such items on the market...but rapid pullout of the market causes drastic effects on the market

2019-08-08 11:21:27 UTC

so there is a level of wealth that is basically like the food dispenser on star trek

2019-08-08 11:21:40 UTC

except that the money has to come from somewhere

2019-08-08 11:21:55 UTC

which is why so many tech firms are pulling out slowly from the market...not rapidly ..they don't want their stock to tank

2019-08-08 11:22:18 UTC

funny u mention star trek

2019-08-08 11:22:28 UTC

right, bu if you do the opposite, pull out rapidly and then buy back slowly at the lower price...

2019-08-08 11:22:42 UTC

lol it was inevitable i think 😛

2019-08-08 11:24:03 UTC

in the star trek ideal ...money has no value in the future ...because everything is provided for everybody out of kindness and a general sense of decency to make the world a better place(this will take time eventually but it can happen if everybody isn't lazy)

2019-08-08 11:24:53 UTC

well when u can construct diamonds out of shit particles, money kind of becomes moot i guess

2019-08-08 11:25:01 UTC

and research projects in the star trek ideal is granted thru resourcing supplies, not actual funding via money

2019-08-08 11:25:05 UTC

but when u say it like that lol it sounds like socialism

2019-08-08 11:25:38 UTC

well it's kinda both a true republic, and socialism at the same time

2019-08-08 11:26:05 UTC

ironically it's true christianity

2019-08-08 11:26:35 UTC

i don't think there is such a thing as true christianity

2019-08-08 11:26:48 UTC

as in christianity doesn't understand it's own roots

2019-08-08 11:26:54 UTC

but that's another discussion lol

2019-08-08 11:27:39 UTC

moral and just is relative to the culture...but culture molding has corrupted the general global understanding of what is moral and just

2019-08-08 11:28:02 UTC

"culture is not your friend"
-terrence mckenna

2019-08-08 11:28:36 UTC

when progress doesn't evolve, it becomes regressive progressivism

2019-08-08 11:29:22 UTC

another version would be - those that forget the past are doomed to repeat it

2019-08-08 11:29:25 UTC

i thought i had a joke about trading only in M&Ms from now on

2019-08-08 11:29:37 UTC

but this coffee just isn't getting the job done

2019-08-08 11:30:10 UTC

well i wouldn't ever expect meaningful change to come from politics or the financial world
