Everyone knows the crusades were not a war. We even sent in armed children, for their protection of course. No dark deeds, burning at the steak or blood on the catholic hands at all.

Well actually the Muslims started that as they attacked Jerusalem first and then started to move into Europe. Which if it weren't for that "war" today, we would know nothing of Christianity and the Western world would've fallen.
But yes, they were sometimes very stupid in the ways they attacked as with the children that eventually got captured and enslaved.
