Yeah, good to know
yeah can confirm, for longer-distance backpacking / etc you really want to consolidate items as much as possible, like probably only having one main cooking container and then a thermos for whatever liquid prefer to drink is more than adequate. it may not be the most comfortable but your back and knees will thank you for it
^yup, I completely agree.
I did the AT a few years ago I only carried what could be considered grey man while doing that I was more likely to be targeted for theft and was robbed once. Leading the rest of the journey for tac carry with old army equipment that I had which lead to people avoiding me on the hike and people of same mindsets joining me making a MAD like situation same situation when I hiked out west too. I will still walk gently with a big stick only works if those can see the big stick.
makes sense. ngl, on the AT, I too carry a big ass knife where everyone can see it.
I still think that if your in a crowd of people though, its a good idea to blend in.

So is america gonna turn into The Division 2?
Me who’s beat the game and maxed out my stats
**my time has come**
Ounces = Pounds
Pounds = Pain
This one kid brings his fucking laptop when we go backpacking
When I’m doing stuff with my SAR group one of us carries this massive med bag that has a folding stretcher inside it. Among other things
cool
speaking of which where can i get one of them folding strechers
cool thanks
how easy is it to unfold
Usually takes a pair of us to do it as the rods can be a bit stiff.
I see ok
Still useful if you are in a group
yeah, since you can't really carry the person with it if you don't have a second person anyway
xD
Drag ones are good to look at to
Or emergency ones
I think this would be the most useful for what I need
Nice
or what I'm looking for anyway
I learned to make one out off some sticks and a few goretexs
that would be cool knowledge too
You can use 2 poles and a couple feed bags with the ends cut off to make one

You guys know any channels I can follow on Bugout and prepping? Preferably on alt-tech?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2x38YwAYXjU
here's a vid on a civilian hand radio setup with military headsets
So what's a good starter thing to do for this?
When I said "Alt Tech" I meant "A channel on Bitchute or MeWe".
But this works too.
do for what?
wrangler star has good videos on tools and homesteading. Kinda hard to sift through his click-baity titles, but his older videos from like 3-7 years ago are excellent. Man has a ton of wisdom.
idk about tech stuff though
