The horrible gun control law you mean that the house is trying to pass
Shelia lee proposed it I think
i assume not considering that theres a sniper rifle (more like hand held antitank gun) in Cyberpunk that works the same way, but the barrel moves forward with the bolt
isnt this the person who said that the AR-15 was heavy and used .50 cal?
Yeah that's her
The people who want to make laws about guns don't understand them at all
jesus fuck
Colion does some good videos about this type of stuff
yeah i saw that one
thats where i got the whole 50 cal thing
But yeah this law serves no real purpose
Yeah I'm going to contact my state representative about this one
But she voted for Trumps impeachment so I don't know about her. Might be a RINO
she might ignore you
I support Gun Owners of America and a local state Tennessee Firearm Association. The NRA has done good in the past but like many things political now days has become bloated and lost sight of what it was representing.
Pretty much
so if they think we have to be licensed to own a gun, which is our God-given constitutional right, then do we also have to get registered to speak, write op-eds, or maintain that the military can't board up in our homes? How could this precedent apply to other rights, like our right to vote regardless of race, our eight amendment, or even something as basic as our right to own property such as land?
I swear, these people are crooks. If they want restrictions on guns, they are more than welcome to push for an amendment to the constitution, yet somehow they keep outright breaking the law, to put in place stricter laws, that they expect me to either obey or else give up every right I have, to include my fucking decency.
I really dont even know what to do. I will not resort to violence, but holy fuck, these people are asking for a war. Have they not studied history? Someone, and again it wont be me, but some group of people is going to hit their breaking point if these politicians dont chill out. It happened in 1776. It happened in 1836. It was the same story both times: The gov. started taking freedoms, property, and livelihoods from the general populace. The people tried going about it in the legal manner, but neither the crown in 1776 nor the Mexican government in 1836 would be held accountable to their own rules and regulations. In both instances, the thing that finally kicked off a civil war was the Government attacking the people with physical force. That, I think, is the only thing our gov has not yet done, and lets pray they never do.
its a fucking atrocity what some our politicians are trying to do right now.
jeez, sorry for the rant. ima just unplug for like a week or two. idec what happens anymore, just so long as we dont enter a second war. -_-
No one should ever desire violence, even if your side wins it will be at a terrible cost.
I think the most likely time the government will "attack people with physical force" is when they physically try and take guns. Most likely that will be the breaking point too for a lot of people, imo at least
For me, this cenorship...if it keeps getting even more worse
We're in clown world
I'm 17, I got many years ahead of me, but if this is what life is like in 10 years
and imagine paying taxes for the people who are there to take our guns away
We already pay taxes to pay for the buffoons called congress and the corruption known as the senate.
oh yeah we do
let's not forget we're paying for omar
Well the new bill in the house includes using the additional 50% tax on ammo and 30% tax on guns to pay for gun violence research, aka anti gun organizations.
it's terrible
Great more taxes to pay for the great inefficient government.
yeah
people generally spend their money more wisely
I already pay 25% of my income in taxes and they want more....
it's 40% in oregon
I'm glad I dont live there
I'm in Portland
