But that's a huge assumption to make.

2021-01-18 01:07:18 UTC

If you have two you can kill 12

2021-01-18 01:08:14 UTC

I think Doughnut Operator detailed the story of a police officer who carried 300 rounds with him after getting into a gunfight and finding out that 100 rounds was not enough.

2021-01-18 01:08:40 UTC

That's because you Americans can't hit shit

2021-01-18 01:08:41 UTC

Each mag carried something like 18, he was carrying a full-sized glock.

2021-01-18 01:08:49 UTC

If you can't do it in one then don't do it.

2021-01-18 01:09:13 UTC

Those are big words for someone who's never been in a gunfight.

2021-01-18 01:09:24 UTC

How do you know?

2021-01-18 01:09:39 UTC

Pretty big assumption

2021-01-18 01:09:59 UTC

How the hell did he miss all 100?

2021-01-18 01:10:15 UTC

Stastically at least one should have hit.

2021-01-18 01:10:52 UTC

Good question, I would ask him.

2021-01-18 01:11:31 UTC

And I don't think it's a huge assumption to make that you've never been in a gunfight. Less than 1% of people have been.

2021-01-18 01:11:37 UTC

Wasn't there a case where there was a point blank gun fight where a total pf 1000 rounds were fired and neither the cops or criminals were hit?

2021-01-18 01:11:46 UTC

Yeah.

2021-01-18 01:12:04 UTC

1920's gangsters would be ashamed

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking your BP revolver. What I am saying is that there have been plenty of instances where a mag of 18 rounds wasn't enough with a smoothly firing 9mm with semi-auto operation. BP revolvers are considerably....less efficient than that.

2021-01-18 01:14:03 UTC

What matters is the user

2021-01-18 01:14:09 UTC

And the quality of pistol

2021-01-18 01:14:22 UTC

So I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that 6 rounds is enough.

2021-01-18 01:14:46 UTC

I don't use my BP for home defence just hunting.

2021-01-18 01:14:48 UTC

And training is absolutely important, it's just important as the weapon.

2021-01-18 01:15:12 UTC

I use my Colt single action army in .357 magnum for home defense.

2021-01-18 01:15:38 UTC

Much more effective and doesn't set off fire alarm

2021-01-18 01:16:39 UTC

I prefer revolvers to semi-autos

2021-01-18 01:16:56 UTC

Fair enough.

2021-01-18 01:17:17 UTC

I've found revolvers to be more reliable

2021-01-18 01:17:54 UTC

@F5 tornado thanks for the article, btw. It was noted.

2021-01-18 01:18:04 UTC

He didn't. The guy just refused to die and it took 3 headsets to finally incapacitate him

2021-01-18 01:18:43 UTC

9mm is no good for stopping a man pumped full of adrenaline

2021-01-18 01:19:13 UTC

.22 lr is more effective than 9mm

2021-01-18 01:19:14 UTC

It was .45 acp

2021-01-18 01:19:20 UTC

Yeah. Bourbon, you better be the best damn shot in the world for all the crap you're talking.

2021-01-18 01:19:20 UTC

...

2021-01-18 01:19:21 UTC

Da fuck?

2021-01-18 01:19:30 UTC

Bourbon

2021-01-18 01:19:36 UTC

.45?

2021-01-18 01:19:42 UTC

You're talking some serious damn smack

2021-01-18 01:19:44 UTC

Huh

2021-01-18 01:19:45 UTC

And yes
