True American cars to me are big high horsepower and fast in a strait-line. But for me I like an American car to have a story behind it. If a retired police car can talk I would hear every word of all the pursuits its been in.

Honda built cars in Ohio in the 80’s and 90’s and the cars they made there were American designed and only sold in the US.

My personal favorite was the 1986-89 Honda Accord LXi hatch back.

I have a relative who is all about American cars and ngl he replaced lots of transmissions. We do buy used cars so that is a factor but still...

Jeep’s are now Fiat Pandas with AWD and a different front end.

When California passes the mandate to BAN all gas powered cars from operation, I wonder what we’ll be forced to drive? I’m betting it’s going to be the electric equivalent of a Trabant 601.

But the California one will be self driving only and biodegradable...
