@SmokyCopCar maybe listen to blm, defund the money that goes to guns and move it into automobiles
Unless there is some act I don’t know about, you can’t defund a private organization
Why? Then we wouldn't have videos of dodges and mustang's that were tuned up in someone's garage beating a cop to the county line.😉
But can you imagine repair bills? Especially if the engine gets damaged. Or if they get wrecked in pursuits or even unrelated incidents..... or shootouts?
Plus for some places it's not practical, like snowy Montana or Michigan.
It'd be awesome, but impractical.
I live in northern Indiana just 20 minutes from the Michigan state line, and most small town law enforcement officers drive AWD Ford Explorers, our local sheriff uses dodge chargers which are great in the summer but they won't chase people in the winter because they slide of the road to easy in the snow and ice.
There are certain police forces that use AWD variants of the Charger, which might be a little better for snowy situations, but I think it's still debatable whether they'd be significantly better.
The problem with the AWD Chargers is that they are not true AWD the front tires only get power when the back tires slip which can make for a bit of a jerky drive when you start slipping, unlike a true AWD system like a Subaru WRX where the front tires always get power so if the back tires slip the front tires are already going so it is a lot less jerky.
Plus with true AWD you hardly ever slip because all four tires are pulling the car along.
One of our sheriffs has a AWD Police Interceptor Charger and he said well it is a lot better than just the RWD system it still slides when we get ice storms.
Honestly I don’t see the Chargers as very good police cars other than when you need speed. But even than vehicles like the explorers which have a turbo eco boost v6 are quite quick and pack a decent punch
1996-2008 Ford Crown Victoria will all ways be best police car.
Was looking at cars on facebook marketplace and saw this 1973 Corvette Stingray for sale near me.
That’s a beauty
@Bradyn looks nice. Think you'll buy it?
@Bradyn i would love to wake up everyday with that in my driveway
@Master oogwei Fuck leaving it in the drive way, shits going in the garage
dont want that bird poop
I have to go change my pants
If I had the money in a heart beat, but right now I am just looking for a small truck to use as my daily driver.
Me to, man it stinks to be poor.😔
73 is kind of a weird year tbh. I'd look for a 68-72 car if you ever can afford a C3
My dream car is a 68 El Camino SS
Mine is 1958 Plymouth Fury, or a 1984-86 Chevy El Comino SS.
mine is the ssc tuatara, i want to drive 300 mph
my dream car is an ls swapped tesla model s
If we are talking engine swapped dream cars. 58 fury with the hellcrate motor and transmission, with some custome made body parts n panels, next is my 1965 C10 with an LS swap (already being done) annnd change my 2012 avenger into a RWD Hemi Charger/ Hellcrate motor swapped.
If this was a road licensed vehicle, would it be considered a truck or a SUV
Probably not even one of those? Maybe like a ATV?
(It’s a Cadillac gage commando btw)
Yeah but when you think of an ATV you think of those tiny 4x4s and buggies
Eh, true I suppose.
I mean I guess armored cars are their own class?
I’m just wondering what it would be if I was forced to put it in an existing class
Well. I still say ATV...cause it’s not a suv....nor a truck..definitely not a sports, super, muscle, exotic, hyper, Hyrbid, cross-over...etc..
Put a Lamborghini engine in it <:troll_face:726878856585281557>
Think it already has more hp than one doesn’t it?
No it only has 210 horses
