What is the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 8 feet? Using 3.14 for n

2021-01-13 17:28:13 UTC

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/789559270828015697/798966648886657034/20210113_102740.jpg

2021-01-13 17:31:29 UTC

the formula to calculate a circle circumference is: (3.14)2r OR (3.14)d

in this case, you will have: (3.14)(8) = 25.12 ft

2021-01-13 17:33:41 UTC

Thanks ma'am your the best

yeah, I don't think they look all that terrible tbh. Esp. for a new guy, that looks great I think. ngl, the last half of that middle strip looked pretty consistent to me, so I def. think your going places :)

2021-01-13 18:49:48 UTC

and again, i really dont know much about welding, and have absolutely zero experience myself.

2021-01-13 18:56:09 UTC

I wasn't exactly taught how to restart/pick up where I left off on a previous bead. <:KEKW:663972443811217409> but now I know.

2021-01-13 18:59:12 UTC

nice.

2021-01-13 19:00:16 UTC

ngl, once I finish college and get a place of my own, I really want to take up welding. I imagine it just feels therapeutic, and even just watching it is rather relaxing for me <:KEK:795742276549607456>

2021-01-13 19:01:15 UTC

Not great. Your speed needs to be more consistent, you need to wait more at the end of the arc to fill the pool, and too much build on the starts.

2021-01-13 19:01:56 UTC

@Erby ^^^

2021-01-13 20:07:45 UTC

Thank you for the advice. I still got a ways to go before I'm actually decent with stick weld.

2021-01-13 20:15:31 UTC

Yeah

2021-01-13 20:15:40 UTC

I stick weld fences with E6013

2021-01-13 20:15:52 UTC

I just about have my certificate in stick

2021-01-13 20:16:01 UTC

Then I am moving to TIG

2021-01-13 20:25:56 UTC

TIG is for motorcycle/automobile welds, right?
