DC is a shit hole. My family got an air bnb in a “nice” neighborhood. Across the street was a homeless shelter, neighbors were high on weed 24/7 and the first night we were there, we heard gunshots near by

While I was trying to sleep

I was in the valley in california, and the entire town that i was in was basically just homeless people.also I'm in Chicago so gunshots aren't uncommon
