If you can get Texas to succeed. Red states will over throw their state officials who don't follow. This is unique though because no state is completely red or completely blue. No Texas money will be a huge boon on the economy of the rest of the U.S.

It'd be very interesting to see what would happen to the current lawmakers if states seceded and they no longer had the power/money coming in to them

Seceding is a trap. If people won't stand up and fight now, they won't stand up and fight when seceding either. All you do is make yourself weak by standing alone

Succession is the best peaceful remedy. Break the power monopoly of the federal government and spit in their face

Seceding would give an opportunity to that

We're only unorganized because literally nobody's doing the organizing

And we won't get a public common vision or a real leder by trying to secede. You would have a few people trying to do something, and 99% doing nothing.

Unless you get some real movement and real force behind it, such plans are counterproductive. A better plan for now until we have a movement to do such a thing, is to build community, inform people, try to take control of institutions, etc
