@Deleted User I wish WE could just have a license (not permit) for all 50 states, like a DL

2020-03-31 07:00:23 UTC

In my opinion we shouldnt have to do any of that crap but 🤷🏻‍♀️

2020-03-31 07:01:23 UTC

**Constitutional Carry** 👍

@Warrior welcome to the server 👍🏻

Texas was originally CHL - Conceal Handgun License. Now Texas is License to Carry (LTC), in need to dig into this, my understanding a license is different than a permit. Does anyone here know the legal difference?

2020-03-31 07:10:25 UTC

for instance Nebraska has a CHP ( Concealed Handgun Permit )

2020-03-31 07:10:51 UTC

I dont but that is definitely sonething to look into

2020-03-31 07:11:52 UTC

A drivers licenses is different from a drivers permit

2020-03-31 07:13:27 UTC

food for though I guess.. Maybe it's time to phone a gun lawyer ! LOL

2020-03-31 07:13:39 UTC

It depends on the state

2020-03-31 07:13:51 UTC

@Deleted User found it

2020-03-31 07:13:52 UTC

@killerkyle you will need to confirm this in Texas, as I've been away too long, but a carry license in Georgia means that I can carry either concealed or openly.

2020-03-31 07:13:59 UTC

On what a gun liscense and a gun permit mean

2020-03-31 07:14:01 UTC

It does away with any worry about printing.

2020-03-31 07:14:09 UTC

which is great

2020-03-31 07:14:21 UTC

@Warrior 😁👍🏻

2020-03-31 07:14:45 UTC

@killerkyle you know the best resource I’ve found for answering gun questions (in my state anyway) was my weed dr. When I had my card a couple years back. He knew the laws inside and out.

2020-03-31 07:15:12 UTC

@YahsChild interesting.

2020-03-31 07:15:43 UTC

@Deleted User yeah. I was pretty impressed. Lol. I guess to have that license they have to stay on it.

2020-03-31 07:16:39 UTC

Texas here ?

2020-03-31 07:16:48 UTC

Every state is so different too. I asked my sons father who’s an attorney and avid gunman the other day and he was even having to look it up. He got frustrated and said f it.

2020-03-31 07:17:11 UTC

But if your a patient using medical marijuana dont you lose your right to own a fire arm @YahsChild

2020-03-31 07:17:39 UTC

I was going for the fact in most cases a license requires, training/education,, but a permit usually only requires money and an objective

2020-03-31 07:18:09 UTC

@Deleted User my card expired two years ago and you didn’t lose the right to carry, it was just a different stipulation.

2020-03-31 07:18:49 UTC

I remember asking my Dr but forgot now what EXACTLY he said. I’d just go to the tactical gun shops websites and visit them to ask.

2020-03-31 07:19:37 UTC

@Warrior Texas DFW

2020-03-31 07:19:42 UTC

Az we are very liberal (yet) when it comes to carrying. Thank Goodness. Everyone carries

2020-03-31 07:20:10 UTC

Same as @killerkyle

2020-03-31 07:20:14 UTC
