@Karnivore wait so the virus can be on stainless steel longer ?
In <#686607598216151090>
@theend there is the original breakdown of viability on each surface.
to my knowledge, that is still current

Oh
that's a pretty long time
> "...viral particle RNA was found up to 17 days after passengers disembarked the Diamond Princess cruise ship, but experts don't know if they are viable or not."
I just bought stainless steel straws 😳
lol
so long as no one else is also using those straws before you, you're good
my wife also bought those
Oh lol
just wash them like everything else and wash the container or cup that you store them in
Okay
heat kills the virus pretty well
Someone said to put your nose over boiling or hot water to kill the virus
i'd be careful not to burn yourself
lol
@Deleted User sent a link awhile back of some guys sniffing the hot air out from hairdryers, a few weeks ago
I think that simple, good practices are best
Yeah
things like always washing hands thoroughly after bathroom use, after touching someone else's door knobs, keeping countertops clean, toilets clean (virus comes out of both ends!), immediately tossing anything you've blown your nose into
NOT touching your face is probably the most important and most difficult thing to do
we prob touch our face around 2,000 times a day, on average
also, I don't wear my shoes inside anymore
things you bring inside on the bottom of your shoes are pretty horrible
Yeah
I also purchase portable soap
is that like a waterless soap?
No it's like soap that looks like paper and you can take it anywhere you go
I've never heard of such a thing
you'll have to show me a link for it
I'll check it when I get back
gotta run to UPS to drop something off to be shipped
I got it on Amazon btw
There are 4 cases and altogether is 200 sheets of soap
