Maybe I am biased because I dont want violence, even though I am certainly prepared, but I really cannot believe that if there is a path to success, it does not involve the least amount of violence possible, otherwise we would have had DECLAS already and would be fighting currently

This is wishful thinking and you say it yourself, you don't want violence. There is no justice if treasonous traitors aren't dealt with accordingly and there is no deterrence if discipline isn't implemented, for our nation and for the nations that would come against us.
