2021-01-14 15:14:44 UTC

2021-01-14 15:14:46 UTC

i do

2021-01-14 15:14:56 UTC

if you look at Walter Williams' works, you will find that strangely enough, in the 60's where blacks are heavily discriminated, they perform equal or better than white people

2021-01-14 15:15:29 UTC

Oi, what did sa bout me mum?

2021-01-14 15:15:33 UTC

i'm assuming this will go down the track that "war on poverty is the reason why blacks are poor"

2021-01-14 15:15:34 UTC

I think that was largely due to being separate and running their own communities.

2021-01-14 15:15:39 UTC

thomas sowell says that at least

2021-01-14 15:15:40 UTC

fact check true

2021-01-14 15:15:47 UTC

and could i get the stats for this

2021-01-14 15:16:12 UTC

Ok, enough playing around. What is this discussion about?

2021-01-14 15:16:18 UTC

lol

2021-01-14 15:16:29 UTC

I'm curious 🤔

2021-01-14 15:16:40 UTC

no. my point is: funding money isn't the problem. you can pour in a ton of money, but if the people running the schools/school districts aren't efficient, then it's no good

2021-01-14 15:16:53 UTC

Bloody ell @JohnXIV .

2021-01-14 15:16:58 UTC

Get rid of the teacher unions.

2021-01-14 15:17:04 UTC

Change my mind..

2021-01-14 15:17:14 UTC

And implement school choice.

2021-01-14 15:17:31 UTC

if the money isn't being allocated correctly or not at all, then yes

2021-01-14 15:17:39 UTC

this doesn't solve the problem

2021-01-14 15:17:47 UTC

you can look it up yourself, since i believe you would reject my sources and stuffs. i would advise also look up Walter Williams' works

2021-01-14 15:18:04 UTC

you providing it is better than me trying to look it up

2021-01-14 15:18:07 UTC

just dm it to me

2021-01-14 15:18:10 UTC

or put it here

2021-01-14 15:18:11 UTC

in the 60's, the black community certainly didn't receive many

2021-01-14 15:18:22 UTC

cause otherwise i think you're just lying about this

2021-01-14 15:18:35 UTC

The current state and power Unions are ruining alot of things.

2021-01-14 15:18:35 UTC

which you may given the track record of people in this server lying about stats

2021-01-14 15:18:47 UTC

lmao look it up yourself

2021-01-14 15:18:55 UTC

but you brought it up

2021-01-14 15:18:55 UTC

Hello, my fellow Texan.

2021-01-14 15:19:03 UTC

do you not have it?

2021-01-14 15:19:06 UTC

Hello there.

2021-01-14 15:19:09 UTC

if i'm lying about it, fact check me and pull up a source that dispute me

2021-01-14 15:19:29 UTC

Oi, I am often mistaken, but rarely lie. Better to be stupid than dishonest? 😄

2021-01-14 15:19:30 UTC

why do righties always get annoyed when you ask them for sources

2021-01-14 15:19:35 UTC

i don't get it

2021-01-14 15:19:39 UTC

Hello

2021-01-14 15:19:53 UTC

just link the article

2021-01-14 15:19:57 UTC

general Kenobi

2021-01-14 15:20:03 UTC

Sure it would. School choice would make the entire system more competitive based on teacher quality. The schools would no longer be funded based on property tax, but those that chose to go there. If School A has poor teachers, nobody would choose to go there. If School B has good teachers, then more would choose to go there, resulting in more funding.
