Ok. So the Senate needs 2/3 vote to remove him but during this process the Senate can also vote a separate add-on motion to ban him from future elections. For this banning of future elections, the motion needs only a 50% vote of the Senate body plus ONE additional Senate member.

Honestly, I think a major factor in their disdain for him has been due to his reversal of their agenda’s progression. The dismantling of their hard work in pushing us into socialism.

I guess we will just have to see how it all plays out. I see a spectrum of possibilities. 1. Dems ultimate crushing of Trump in any scenario with the 25th and/or impeachment and he had nothing up his sleeve Yada yada Yada. 2. They fail removing him but do succeed in disqualifying him from future elections. All the while he either does or doesn’t expose and convict key players for some mass corruption/treason thing. 3. He evades impeachment and destroys his opponents. And then he either steps down as gesture to appease the other side that he’s not trying to reign but only remove corruption and then runs again in 2024 — or — keeps his seat for the next 4 years. 🧐 any other possibilities?

I think it’s basically the fact that they lost face to their donors and trump gave his supporters what they wanted or tried to at least .... now people are demanding things from their politicians .... that’s why they are mad

I’m linked to several pro dem Instagram accounts that weren’t politically motivated until this whole election issue. The hate there is STRONG. Those accounts used to get like... 2k likes but now get like 15~20k likes daily <:facepalm:438877920753090560>

As for Biden, during this whole thing, he played the “meek sheep” angle and only recently started digging into Trump (which was equivocal to taking cheap shots as Trump has been metaphorically handicapped by big tech)

If you look at his Twitter and home page, he only sends positive messages and promises to “build and heal” (which is totally contrary to his recent statements)

What did it for me aside all the video clips catching him making contradictory statements (including the one Bernie hard-pressed him in from of “the American people”) was his disrespect towards the military crowd that was at his speech. They started clapping but it wasn’t instant and he said “clap you stupid bastards”
