Back in the day in aus if a opal miner found you poaching in their mine

2020-08-28 01:25:59 UTC

They would cover the hole up shut down the lift and let you die

2020-08-28 01:26:07 UTC

Imagine that happening today

2020-08-28 01:26:22 UTC

Kids are soft

2020-08-28 01:26:38 UTC

Lol, I think we should go back to that kind of stuff tbh.

2020-08-28 01:26:50 UTC

Then people wouldn't try and burn down buildings

2020-08-28 01:27:01 UTC

You could get away with it still in the outback here maybe

2020-08-28 01:27:14 UTC

Pigs will eat any body you drop in the boons

2020-08-28 01:27:33 UTC

Down to the bone

2020-08-28 01:27:43 UTC

Lol, well fault on either sides, hopefully the jury gets things right

2020-08-28 01:27:45 UTC

So hot the bones would turn to dust in a year

2020-08-28 01:28:38 UTC

Yeah we have places like that here. We kinda have most climates here and crazy wild life

2020-08-28 01:28:52 UTC

@Rem There was no fault on that kids side at all

2020-08-28 01:29:11 UTC

When i go out pig shooting ill goto the same spot next year not even bones left

2020-08-28 01:29:17 UTC

I have seen all of the footage, he was defending his city from rioters and should be praised

2020-08-28 01:29:19 UTC

He showed up with an illegal firearm

2020-08-28 01:29:28 UTC

It was not illegal

2020-08-28 01:29:43 UTC

Under their laws he had a legal weapon

2020-08-28 01:29:50 UTC

Was illegal for him to be carrying is what I mean

2020-08-28 01:30:17 UTC

It was not, only thing would be if it was a gun free zone, which it was not

2020-08-28 01:30:35 UTC

He was 17 he's underage

2020-08-28 01:30:36 UTC

Gun laws vary by state

2020-08-28 01:30:48 UTC

Not in Wisconsin or Illonois

2020-08-28 01:31:06 UTC

Also there's no Stand Your Ground law there. It's illegal to attempt to or kill someone in self defense it says

2020-08-28 01:31:44 UTC

Im pretty sure even if that was true his defence of himself is still justified

2020-08-28 01:31:48 UTC

He retreated before each shooting

2020-08-28 01:32:00 UTC

better to be judged by 12 rather than carried by 6

2020-08-28 01:32:03 UTC

So also within the law

2020-08-28 01:32:46 UTC

@Rem Here look at this and it will clarify a lot of this for ya.

2020-08-28 01:34:14 UTC

Yeah I am aware, don't ever read the media garbage, I carry a gun and know what all these laws mean, non stand your ground means you have to retreat and if the threat follows you can fire and that is what happened

2020-08-28 01:34:37 UTC

I'm not on either side, he did try to flee for his life before shooting but he is not 100% in the right

2020-08-28 01:34:52 UTC

That is not a back against the wall state so all that is required is a retreat

2020-08-28 01:35:52 UTC

He is 100% in the right period, because if you want to get technical the 2nd amendment doesn't have an age limit or a manor in which defense can be permitted outside of fear for your life

2020-08-28 01:37:06 UTC

But that would only be if it had to get appealed to the Supreme Court which I don;t see this case making it out of the forst circut tbh

2020-08-28 01:38:03 UTC
2020-08-28 01:38:12 UTC

the media is huge anti 2nd Amendment .. watching some of the local news coverage near Kenosha paints this kid in a bad way

2020-08-28 01:38:55 UTC

It does, but we all know what happens if this goes to appeals, that case would be over before it even started

2020-08-28 01:39:35 UTC

And half the Wisconsin laws would be removed because of that so it wont ever go that far, because they know that!

2020-08-28 01:42:52 UTC

So anyone at any age can carry an assault rifle? No matter the state?

2020-08-28 01:43:23 UTC

I dont think its that cut and dry
