The best thing we can do is homeschool our kids, or put them into private schools that parallel our values. Public school has failed us, and that can be seen most obviously in this most recent generation.
I remember when I was at university, my American history professor would consistently bash Trump during her lectures. I ended up dropping out because it was just too expensive, but it’s sad that people are being indoctrinated without even recognizing that they’re being brainwashed until it’s too late.
I think public schools are essential to a child's social development, and for them not to resent their teaching parent too much and see them more as a teacher than a parent. But I agree with @Jack Hunter, I will definitely teach morals at home for sure and tell him/her to completely ignore whatever those nutcases keep telling him
I don’t have children nor do I wish for them, but I would think a religious private school would make for a better setting. I’m sure you’re more educated on that though, as you have kids & I don’t
