i just used 3D paint so that's what worked best, but I can work it with different tools or get my hands on gimp

anyhow thanks for the advice. I still got the original base color so I can work from there again

god gimp feels horrible to use

nothing like photoshop at all, all i want to do is cut a section of the photo and use move that to a newly created layer and GIMP has a stroke when doing so
