I think of the bible as an allegory and don't take it as literal fact... so in that sense, sometimes, I feel it's easier to relate it to what we are seeing happening today

Yeah... we need always be careful of taking a document written 300 years after the fact as literal. The bible is a good way to hear God's message and it's a good moral guideline. But is not exactly how things happened.

im not christian so i don't really care for the bible lol, i do agree it can be a good moral guideline though
