2020-11-07 20:55:33 UTC

You just have to make the room as gross as possible

2020-11-07 20:55:38 UTC

also there's literally no where else

2020-11-07 20:55:41 UTC

2020-11-07 21:22:03 UTC

What would be better? Getting a water-cooling block or a Noctua cooler

2020-11-07 21:22:16 UTC

I don't overclock.

2020-11-07 21:22:43 UTC

But I do play games that heat up my CPU, e.g. Yakuza Kiwami 2 and MHW.

2020-11-07 21:23:23 UTC

I've never messed with liquid cooling for pcs

2020-11-07 21:24:36 UTC

I have a aio

2020-11-07 21:26:14 UTC

The benefits of a quieter room vs more points for failure and catastrophe. Heatsinks and fans are annoying to clean too but 4x a year tops you should be fine

2020-11-07 21:27:18 UTC

My knowledge is some years out of date tho, maybe the pumps, tubes, couplings have improved

2020-11-07 21:28:01 UTC

If you're the type to change pcs like every other year then it's prob fine

2020-11-07 21:28:17 UTC

my pc is super quiet

2020-11-07 21:28:19 UTC

dont hear it at all

2020-11-07 21:28:23 UTC

If you want to stretch a pcs life I say go fans/sinks

2020-11-07 21:28:28 UTC

i dont really play demanding games tho

2020-11-07 21:28:40 UTC

he at the protests

2020-11-07 21:28:44 UTC

Yeah ymmv

2020-11-07 21:28:55 UTC

The fans on AIO's aren't necessarily quiet.

The one's that have quiet fans usually go for 150+

2020-11-07 21:29:09 UTC

Competitive gamers play on low settings anyway

I have a corsair watercooled heatsink and it seems pretty based. With an SSD my PC is insanely quiet and I can overclock comfortably

2020-11-07 21:32:43 UTC

i have like a total of 800 gb
