@SageBones Ya, I have a cousin who is a linesman. He makes around 90k-100k I think, and loves the physical work. Personally, I think unless you are doing engineering, programming, finance, or plan on getting a PhD in some type of science, university is a bad route.

You can learn anything online, I study a very niche engineering field and even for these fields I can find anything in online textbooks. I usually dont even go to lectures, I just write the exams and do some side projects. I wouldnt even go to colledge if I didnt need that piece of paper

@Heraklines I miss a shit ton of lectures due to sickness from stress and insomnia, or simply not caring to go to CS lectures when I can teach myself. Really need to get my sleep schedule in check.

I'd rather not give the precise name, but it's engineering using simulations. Lots of different fields into one major basically, I feel like it doesnt all fit and you have to teach yourself lots of stuff they dont explicitly teach you.
