I was able to take shop classes in high school.

several woodshop classes and even metal shop.

Working the forge was goddamn awesome.

I also made an aluminum ring and a simple sheet metal tool box.

I still have two of the things i made from wood shop.

Yeah, I made a couple boxes and I still have both. The little box holds my quarters for laundry.

The larger "jewelry" box is still in my old apartment and holds my calligraphy set.

thats pretty kool. i got to make a stool. actually two stools. and to this day wonder why my shop teacher said "stools are always usefull", as i have yet to find a use for either of them...
