It's weird how movies/shows/videos and strategy games don't feel "dirty" to me at all on this quest to become better.

@Deleted User I've never been one to finish a game, always get into it hardcore and thwn lose interest half way through. I'm struggling with being depressed at the moment, nothing holds my interest for long. Also i got obsessive with video gaming, lost a relationship becaus3 of it and that was both wake up call and ruined gaming for me. I didn't pick up a game for like two three months after our break up.
Even movies and shows have lost their allure to me tbh

See... the problem with games for me is very specific and singular.
I crave progress and achievement. I ONLY play strategy. it's all about creation, conquest and management.

I crave that in real life and achieve some of it but after a long 10 hour day I come home and escape into a unreal world were I get back to work for 2-3 hours.

@Deleted User oh right. Yeah don't be sorry. It's primarily self inflicted. I'm not taking good care of myself like i should. I chain smoke, get over caffeinated and stay up late, isolate in my room, etc. I probably shouldn't have even mentioned it. I don't deserve any sympathy.

If you got more social, quit smoking, quit coffee (for some time), worked out, slept well and ate better - would you still be depressed?
