I don't existential angst because I don't tend to find the angst warranted.

Hence my criticism included "contrived"

Now, bladerunner 2049... not as painfully angsty, but I felt especially robbed because I mixed up Gosling and Reynolds.

@Xychotic I feel you, but i dont fully agree. The film does have some measure of hope/optimism. Its not much but it does take away from some of the angst

So, I went into 2049 hoping for the Reynolds treatment.

But instead, I got the wet paper bag that is Gosling.

i thought Gosling was going to be deadpool

And it pissed me off!
