the questions do get a bit wonky
"protectionism is sometimes necessary in trade"
ya i just stopped since i didnt understand
Questions are phrased weirdly in that test. Very leading.
I understand that it's on purpose
Not a fair test then.
You may have to use a google search for definitions n' stuff.
one of the questions was "do you agree with *communist quote*?
I didn't know it was Karl Marx untill I googled it. Hell, I didn't even understand what the quote meant. I actually got it backwards. <:KEK:726877368601411624>
I'll redo it when I'm a more educated individual

The political compass test is trash. It lists Hitler as right wing and puts him in the same group is Margaret Thatcher. It also assumes that you can be a libertarian leftist and an authoritarian conservative. Plus, the questions are phrased in such a way that they can be interpreted in a number of ways, meaning your answers to the questions themselves aren’t fully accurate to your political views
yeah, the political compass is a bit shit and definitely biased in a couple ways.
Essentially, a political spectrum is more accurate than a compass. Far left = Communism, Far Right=Anarchism
For anyone who wants to see how poorly the political compass test is (and also how it purposely paints conservatives in poor light), there’s a great video by John Doyle that I’ll link in a second
