Yeah, they're not as interesting since Mike Portnoy left as their drummer, but Mike Mangini is still pretty good. Their Distance Over Time CD was sublime
I find that Canada is somewhat lacking in the popular music stuff. There are some pretty darn good obscure musicians, but the most popular ones right now are Tragically Hip, Rush, Bustin Jeepers (Justin Bieber. From Stratford ON which is close to where I live), and Deadmau5.
