I find that Canada is somewhat lacking in the popular music stuff. There are some pretty darn good obscure musicians, but the most popular ones right now are Tragically Hip, Rush, Bustin Jeepers (Justin Bieber. From Stratford ON which is close to where I live), and Deadmau5.

yeah, they tend to be fairly quiet, though. It's hard to be conservative in those communities without getting run over by SJWs. Bronies less so than furries I find, but it still happens.
