I wear a mask if a business requires it (their right) but they aren’t really effective. Plus it takes long term exposure, indoors, in close proximity to really spread it

@ComradeCosmonaut I still think you should wear the plastic bag... just to be sure

2020-08-10 16:20:28 UTC

And when these same people think they aren't on camera they don't even do as they preach

Masks aren't effective yet medical staff have been wearing it for decades

2020-08-10 16:20:56 UTC

@ComradeCosmonaut do you know what they're having to wear now

2020-08-10 16:21:14 UTC

@ComradeCosmonaut medical personnel wear them so they don't spittle into an open wound

2020-08-10 16:22:12 UTC

My friend works at some kind of rehab center and they currently have to wear three masks, an o2 tank, and a plastic face shield

2020-08-10 16:22:43 UTC

Pretty much a scuba suit

2020-08-10 16:22:55 UTC

Shen back me up here, you care about facts over feelings, tell these Karen's the virus doesn't care about their feelings and the fact is they should wear a mask

2020-08-10 16:28:11 UTC

XD

2020-08-10 16:28:32 UTC

the facts don't seem to be on your side, @ComradeCosmonaut... only some unsourced memes

2020-08-10 16:28:44 UTC

I’ve read that we normies might actually be endangering ourselves because we don’t know how to properly use masks.

2020-08-10 16:29:07 UTC

It is *because* Facts don't care about your feelings, that I disagree with you.

Google obviously doesn't want me to find it but I believe I heard that WHO did a study some years back that concluded that masks aren't very effective, but of course they did a new study recently to change their findings

2020-08-10 16:52:03 UTC

I believe them as much as I believe the study funded by Mars Chocolate that claimed chocolate is high in antioxidants, and the time that Bill said he did not have shrekual relations with that woman, and the time that Fauci said not to wear masks and then he said do wear masks but when he thought the cameras weren't rolling he removed his mask
Which coincidentally happens with other media folks too

2020-08-10 16:52:26 UTC

2020-08-10 16:52:57 UTC

Didn't bing get sued for using Google search results?

Tldr I wear a mask because I've been asked to by my church, but I don't have a problem with people who choose not to because I don't ascribe to "In Fauci We Trust"

2020-08-10 17:00:42 UTC

oops

2020-08-10 17:03:30 UTC

Fun fact: his wife is Chief of the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center and iirc she oversees covid research, if hydroxychloroquine works she would have to find something else to research

2020-08-10 17:17:15 UTC

Another fun fact is she looks a awful lot like Mrs Doubtfire
