Counterpoint: blue lives exist, and their choosing to be members of a group instead of being born into it doesn’t invalidate their concerns. Plus, some cops are even black, and common sense would dictate that if the biggest problem black communities face is racist white cops, then hiring black cops would be the perfect way to counteract that.
