in amercian-memes, that thing about history...it used to be taught...before dept of education came along

2020-09-05 19:49:42 UTC

because i was taught that fact

2020-09-05 19:49:56 UTC

The slavery one i posted?

2020-09-05 19:50:08 UTC

this one

2020-09-05 19:50:45 UTC

and the weird thing is ...i was taught in a public school and a dem controlled city

2020-09-05 19:50:57 UTC

Yeah, somehow it "slipped through the cracks".

2020-09-05 19:53:01 UTC

Use the meme form to get the facts through...else it will get lost in all the hype and virtue signalling (mostly pandering).

2020-09-05 19:56:27 UTC

i've only been keeping track up to about 2000's on the changes to the 'history' books

2020-09-05 19:56:54 UTC

but i never realized how far it got til i got into redpill research

2020-09-05 19:57:23 UTC

Spread the knowledge 👍

2020-09-05 19:57:45 UTC

i stopped having access to the books when i stopped babysitting and tutoring kids

2020-09-05 19:58:00 UTC

Dang

2020-09-05 19:58:15 UTC

i had to help them with their homework alot

2020-09-05 19:59:15 UTC

@SoggyPotatoes if you frame by frame it she tried to kill herself but still person armed with gun and shoots it while in the presence of a cop. clean shoot

2020-09-05 19:59:16 UTC

I see it as ammo to shoot at libtards, hopefully they fact check the memes and get themselves redpilled.

2020-09-05 19:59:38 UTC

alot of them grew out of the tutoring age, and a new generation came along about 10yrs later..but at that point...the schools stopped them from bringing the books home with them

2020-09-05 20:00:56 UTC

i had to change my name here on the server because of the frequent use of the word 'libtard' as being something 'offensive'

2020-09-05 20:01:49 UTC

my previous nick was 'Libtardious Maximus' ...it's what aoc would be called in ancient roman

2020-09-05 20:02:39 UTC

i normally like to set my personality per server via nick change if needed

2020-09-05 20:02:45 UTC

U know as they say, ignorance is bliss, i think that leaving out major details out of history prevents kids now from digging deeper. They won't look for what they don't know or never heard of.

2020-09-05 20:03:49 UTC

most of the kids are kept from critical thinking...basically told to listen to the teachers exclusively, and not seek out any other sources

2020-09-05 20:04:00 UTC

in other words - programmed

2020-09-05 20:05:00 UTC

still got a few free thinking kids around ...they're gamers

2020-09-05 20:05:16 UTC

I noticed. I only got my memes. Any suggestions are very welcomed. I think u wanting a civics channel is awesome.

2020-09-05 20:05:20 UTC

critical thinking is req'd in gaming

2020-09-05 20:06:15 UTC

This server does combine zed and education in the name.

2020-09-05 20:06:46 UTC

anyway...before 2000's rolled around...the kids would show off their newest game..they'd been playing for weeks at it ..they'd get stuck somewhere and hand me the controller

2020-09-05 20:07:02 UTC

my first try..i get thru the hard part for them

2020-09-05 20:07:55 UTC

they were wondering when i learned to play the game...i replied with 'just now'

2020-09-05 20:08:23 UTC

Weak problem solving skills?

2020-09-05 20:08:27 UTC

first thing u learn when playing a game is ..what controls does what

2020-09-05 20:09:14 UTC

sometimes u can figure stuff out on the fly ...even combinations

2020-09-05 20:10:03 UTC

my nephews hated playing against me in some classic battlemode games like doom

2020-09-05 20:10:16 UTC

So why do they hand over the controller at the hard parts? 🤷‍♀️

2020-09-05 20:11:01 UTC

critical thinking, problem solving was mostly easy to me...but women was the hard part in my life

2020-09-05 20:11:28 UTC

🎻

2020-09-05 20:11:30 UTC

game theory is a breeze, emotional theory ..now that is another ball of wax

2020-09-05 20:13:51 UTC

Everyone has their strengths...sadly they codle their weaknesses without trying first, fail, learn from mistakes and try again. They just chalk it up to "nobody's perfect".

2020-09-05 20:15:57 UTC

The new shortcut becomes the new route thing.

2020-09-05 20:18:03 UTC

well most of my relationships were more classified as 'friends with benefits'
