These are what the circuits look like for clarification:
nice, Justice Kavanaugh is overseeing the Circuit i'm in
Has the assignment of SCOTUS Justices been alloted to Circuit Courts like this before? It's an area I've never checked into.
I hear bells ringing in the air...
Cause Clarence must've gotten his wings, and he's looking at Georgia...
Clarence Thomas assigned in GA, oh Biden is fucked.
I'm pretty sure Clarence Thomas already had the 11th circuit district.
And ACB assigned in Wisconsin.
Yes, Ruth Bader Ginsburg used to have held the 2nd circuit but now Sonia Sotomayor has it now. (whom used to have the 6th circuit)
Samuel Anthony Alito Jr. is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. He was nominated by President George W. Bush on October 31, 2005, and has served since January 31, 2006.
Who was assigned in the 4th and 9th circuit?
4th is assigned to Chief Justice John Roberts and 9th is assigned to Associate Justice Elena Kagan.
Both of whom were previously assigned to these circuits.
I know Im an idiot but what does this mean for the election?
SCOTUS cases?
I got Barrett!
Hoosier gang AAOOO
Me too!
I live in IL
They can hear cases from the lower courts and interpret the law like a normal judge would.
I don't know about Arizona tho. Wait who was the so-called Sharpie Queen in Maricopa?
So can someone correct me on the order of events?
December 8th: if electoral college can't determine a vote (no certification), then it goes to state legislature?
December 12th: if the state still can't come to a candidate conclusion, then it goes to... Federal Congress? SCOTUS?
@PRIVILEGED N.P.C. Thanks.
Incoming riots. Be prepared not scared.
At least he got out. I would give props if he pulled a mad lad move and went back to guarding the store.
Oh boy.
I hate that they make Rittenhous wear that mask. Makes him look like Hannibal Lecter.
That was probably the point
i pray he goes free
go trump go
Yep, baseless allegations. Just don't look at the dead people who voted
or the vote swapping
or absentee ballots that were stolen or tossed or illegally counted
WP: "Trump uses the power of being a president to do things you should hate"
If the president has that power, then how is it an abuse of it? <:thonk:301518219808866314>
Well, he has the power to put boots on the ground for 30 days before wartime... Using it against allies would probably be an abuse of power...
i have people at work who are like 60. im only 24. they are literally over 30 years older than me and telling me that the press calls the election and have called it since like 1960 or something
