If they can get state legislation to not certify the election it can drop bidens electoral total below 270. A president elect has to have a minimum of 270 electoral votes to be nominated by electors. If neither candidate makes it to 270 the state delegates will decide. That hearing starts on January 6. Each state at that point gets 1 vote 50 total. Whichever candidate that has the majority of votes wins. FYI Republicans hold the majority in this situation.
