Also, France for the longest time didn't have statutory rape laws for the longest time.

2020-09-16 18:54:58 UTC

yes, her behavior was wrong...but it takes the scene out of context when u only review clips

2020-09-16 18:55:23 UTC

I'm not French so I don't know the laws and when they were put in.

2020-09-16 18:55:41 UTC

as i posted this here and in other servers about 'cuties'

2020-09-16 18:55:43 UTC

well the biggest impact of 'cuties' on the net is the fact that it exposes that single parenting and peer pressure plus tv/social-media 'babysitting' has an effect on the youth beyond what is respectable behavior and the parents that let this happen are gasping at the fact that they let their guards down and failed to notice what the kids were exposed to and imitating, this is the 'result' of 2nd wave feminism on the family structure, now we're in 3rd wave feminism.

2020-09-16 18:55:47 UTC

Also, know Children's rights are also human rights.

2020-09-16 18:56:16 UTC

And pedophiles seek to corrupt.

@Deleted User I think you're missing my point here. I am saying it should be banned in AMERICA because it breaks laws in AMERICA. It may have good intention but it can fuel people who get off on looking at naked children. If you don't see the fucking issue with this, you're fucked up. It has a good message? Well sure has a HELL OF A WAY OF SAYING IT, THERE WERE CLOSE UPS OF GIRLS CROTCHES AS WELL AS EXPLICIT SCENES WITH CHILDREN.

2020-09-16 18:57:52 UTC

oh and netflix has done far worse to kids than 'cuties' ....hell last yr they released actual child porn in a movie with other erotic content ..took them a few months to remove it, sundance also praised it...it had nowhere near the impact on the world like 'cuties' did...ppl were just canceling netflixs on rumors and clips

2020-09-16 18:58:25 UTC

I agree with Izzy tho. They could have communicated the message better with the imagery.

2020-09-16 18:58:33 UTC

without

2020-09-16 18:58:41 UTC

shoulda released the book first

2020-09-16 18:58:53 UTC

I'll *pass*

2020-09-16 18:59:06 UTC

way too many stories are going to film first when they need to be in book first

@Deleted User What movie? Do tell.

2020-09-16 19:00:11 UTC

sundance is another one of those suspect predator platforms under the guise of 'artists' review

2020-09-16 19:00:37 UTC

well i don't remember the name of it off hand....been over a yr ago

2020-09-16 19:01:19 UTC

i don't have a netflix acc(never did)

2020-09-16 19:02:57 UTC

Well, currently we're speaking of one issue, not bringing up others. One nasty movie at a time.

2020-09-16 19:03:26 UTC

"What about the muslims in China? What about the Yemen Crisis? How about the Gaza explosions or the Lebanon explosion? Those are present issues Izzy Also, children being held at the border is NOT like BLM.
But, also, native women and children are getting kidnapped and raped in America and Canada. No this isn't a past issue, this is still happening. LGBTQ people are still being killed everywhere and in some countries you can get killed for being LGBTQ+. This is still happening as well.

They are literally being held in worse conditions AT THE BORDER ITSELF
I wasn't done typing
they don't SEND anyone back
ITS AT THE BORDER with SHIT conditions
Izzy Say Whaat!?Today at 3:01 PM
...do you expect five star hotels for people who are trying to break the law?
Also, considering this was originally about child pornography and taking advantage of underage girls, I don't see why this has to do with shit.
Why bring in other issues when we're trying to figure out one."

2020-09-16 19:04:37 UTC

Is that your friend still arguing on behalf of Cuties? lol

2020-09-16 19:04:38 UTC

well the story is sound, but the images used in it that are most recent and relevent to the times are clearly disgusting to alot of ppl ...on both left and right side of the discussion ..but it does bring up a valid point...peer pressure and babysitting via platform is bad for kids

2020-09-16 19:05:15 UTC

> Is that your friend still arguing on behalf of Cuties? lol
@Red Jasper Yeah, I'm starting to lose my mind tho. We're not talking about any of that shit, but she's a liberal so I expect no less.

2020-09-16 19:05:33 UTC

Your friend is just deflecting.

2020-09-16 19:06:56 UTC

also the timing of the release of the movie..it was made in france long before any protest action going on nor any refugee crisis event..ment to tell a warning to the world, tho it be in explicit french style ...but a warning none the less

2020-09-16 19:08:04 UTC

> well the story is sound, but the images used in it that are most recent and relevent to the times are clearly disgusting to alot of ppl ...on both left and right side of the discussion ..but it does bring up a valid point...peer pressure and babysitting via platform is bad for kids
@Deleted User
1. You should really use commas rather than ellipses
2. Sure sure, peer pressure is something we should teach! But does it require such graphic and explicit scenes sexualizing little girls? Why not about something that isn't illegal?

2020-09-16 19:08:25 UTC

the movie coulda been themed around the creator's history better...with less than critical behavior in imagery

2020-09-16 19:09:07 UTC

It could've been about middle school cliques where children don't shake their asses.

2020-09-16 19:09:29 UTC

The dancing storyline was unnecessary.

2020-09-16 19:10:12 UTC

They were probably trying to get you to relate with the child with that... But still. lol

2020-09-16 19:10:16 UTC

have u even been to a middle school nor any elementary school in a dem controlled area, i've seen some insane shit back in the 70's in the usa that most ppl find offensive today

2020-09-16 19:10:31 UTC

I'm sure there were good intentions or whatever, but they carried it out in a gross way, and it should be banned in the US for showing explicit imagery of underaged girls.

2020-09-16 19:11:14 UTC

Regardless, I'm glad Netflix is under investigation. They have more stuff in their library that needs to be called out.

2020-09-16 19:12:48 UTC

well i think the timing of the release was at a breaking point for pedogate across the usa

2020-09-16 19:27:43 UTC

well the recent 'mr obvious' vid explains alot of it

2020-09-16 19:28:14 UTC

those that did review it with an open mind did point out some scenes that shouldn't been in the film in the first place
