But what's the advantage of having a mechanical keyboard besides noise reduction?
I’d have to laugh at noise reduction part, but if you get a good one, they are more responsive and have longer endurance. Also they sound and feel awesome, and personally for me coming off a cheap keyboard I feel like the keys are also more responsive and not as “mushy” or soft when you press them if you know what I mean
I’d hardly call noise reduction a thing, at least with my keyboard
I think I rather the mushy feel must because type so hard
Thought I would to but I’ve fallen in love with mechanical now
In class the teacher has to tell me to slow down because I type so hard on my computer.
Yeah I might pick up a cheap mechanical on for like 50 dollars to try it out
I don’t type hard besides the space bar
It sounds like I'm hitting my keyboard
Idk why I press the space bar harder than anything else
I just naturally type really hard
i dont had a mechanical keyboard, then i bought a non mechanical keyboard but it happens to be the best keyboard in the world. the IBM model m lol
Isnt that the white boxy one?
the model m?
its the best keyboard in the world
Whar an absolute unit
Bet it ain't stronger than a nokia
This is what I got and I am disappointed that I didn't check the specs
*”hybrid”*
***"hybrid"***
Yep, I stoopid
$60?
Dang
Nah, I bought it for half the price in cyber monday
The price isn't the issue, its the fact that its a hybrid in a MECHANICAL keyboard listing
that is the issue
Tf is a hybrid
Like half garbage keyboard half mechanical?
Yep
Proof
Interesting
Yep it's like a try-to-be mechanical
razer ornata chroma is an example of decent keyboard that employs this
can't really beat a real mechanical but it's still good
membranes have the added bonus of being easy to clean up when you spill something on them, meaning you don't have to strip them down to the board and clean them in order to stop keys shorting out
but again if you spill enough you can get in between the layers of the membranes and it gets worse to clean than a mechanical

Thinking about getting 3060 TI by mid next year. Looks like the CPU I have does alright with it
Cool
